PRESERVATION

-  Seagull Films has undertaken the Restoration and manufacture of a brand new print for " The  Extraordinary Mr. Barnet " , a travelling film series of work by one of the most prominent Soviet film directors, who, according to Jacques Rivette,  " must be considered the best Soviet filmmaker apart fro Eisenstein.î

 - A Unique collection of films by Russian fantasy cinema master Alexander Ptushko were restored and exhibited in a North American tour. They are now  on permanent deposit at the American Cinematheque.

- Over the last three years Seagull Films has carried out the restoration and manufacture of brand-new, high quality prints of films by Andrei Tarkovsky and Alexander Dovzhenko for Martin Scorsese's Foundation for Film Preservation.
